Tasting notes

According to the Beer Judge Certification Program, a Session IPA is a beer with pronounced bitterness, ranging from 30 to 60 IBU, and an alcohol content between 3% and 5%. In general, this style puts the bitterness of hops front and centre! (Source: Mon petit houblon)

Irma delivers plenty of herbal and hoppy flavours. For a 4% beer, it is very flavourful. We are still in thirst-quenching territory, but this time it is for fans of greener hop flavours. The bitterness is pronounced and wrapped in a lemony character. Fruit takes more of a back seat, though green mango and passion fruit still come through. The finish is quite dry and, once again, the drinkability is excellent!
