American Pale Ale, or APA for short, is the American version of Pale Ale, a style with roots in Great Britain. Flavourful, lightly carbonated and easy to drink, APA stands out for its expressive aromatic hops and often more pronounced bitterness, both of which come from the use of American hops. Bob offers a lovely balance between bitterness and malt character. Biscuit and caramel flavours meet tropical fruits such as guava and mango. A pronounced, resinous bitterness carries through into a fairly dry finish. This is a beautifully balanced beer that would suit just about any occasion.
