Anyone who talks about cinema and/or beer immediately catches my attention! We’re talking about two of my greatest passions. I absolutely couldn’t miss the opportunity to tell you about Saison No. 1 beer! A big thank-you to Isle de Garde which has just brewed its second beer to support the Tënk platform. The first being the Tënk IPA.
As mentioned on their site: “Tënk.ca was born from the irresistible desire to share our passion for auteur documentaries.” I subscribe to it and I highly recommend it for all fans of auteur cinema.
As for the beer, it definitely lives up to the cause.
It’s a superb fresh, lemony saison with a light ocher color! The head, which expands quickly, retracts as soon as it arrives.
This cinematic beer brings us fruity and light flavors like lychee and pear which are enhanced with a highly pleasant herbaceous taste. The cereal body, which integrates gently, gives it a pleasant crispness. Moreover, with its slight floral bitterness and its dry finish, it is not only thirst-quenching, but could not be more delicious on the palate!
A beer that is suitable for both the sun and the cinema and is very easy to drink.
