Gros Mollet makes history by visiting port (40%), Banyuls (22%), Scotch whisky (20%) and Tennessee whiskey (18%) barrels. A robust blend of flavours!
On the nose, there are aromas of ripe fruit like plum, lots of caramel and sweet and woody scents like port.
On the palate, we are treated to a very complex blend! Fruity and ripe flavors like plum, red grape or cherry are dominant. The woody character is also prominent. As a result, the port flavors are accompanied by slightly spicy notes (nutmeg, cinnamon).
It ends with a tangy taste (a little lemony) and a caramelized taste (slightly salty) which stays in our mouth. It’s round, immensely complex and above all very good!
