The nose is slightly peaty and earthy (leather). The chocolate scents are accompanied by predominant aromas of red wine. The nose is fruitier than the bourbon version.
Beer with malty (dark caramel) and chocolate flavors. A slight acidity, from its time ageing in red wine barrels, is accompanied by woody notes and flavors of red fruits. The balance of flavors is complex and remarkable! The finish is subtly peaty.
