Tasting notes

I don’t know why this beer has been sitting in the back of my fridge for so long…

Now that I’ve opened it, I know! I was just waiting for the right evening! The kind of night where I felt a bit like the guy pictured on the bottle. 😉

From the first sip, you realize that this is a dark beer with a story to tell! Wow! I almost have the impression that it is a work of art, that the brewer succeeds in conveying emotions. The warm coffee, when I watch the winter freeze outside. Wood that bears witness to the passing years, imparting such distinctive flavours to the beer. The buckwheat and molasses pancakes that my father made for us when we were little. The comforting snap of dark chocolate as I bite into it. Then bourbon, with its notes of vanilla, cherries and alcohol which often accompanies my late evenings…

The beer is amazingly complex and has such a smooth texture.

I’m sorry to tell you about this when there are probably none left on the shelves… but I couldn’t keep it just to myself… 😉

This evening, I wondered why I spent so much time designing and maintaining two sites, which bring me absolutely nothing and generate costs…

I think I found the answer with this beer… 😉
