Definitely less bitter and less crisp (the herbaceous side of the hops has completely disappeared), this version is enhanced by a little tangy side and enhanced with beautiful vinous and woody notes. Very fruity, we find more grape and berry flavours (cranberries, blackcurrants) but we still have some traces of tropical fruits. I must mention, however, that the banana taste is completely gone!

We are dealing with two different products. I give the barrel-aged version a slight edge because I generally enjoy what ageing brings to alcoholic drinks.
