Signature series—A NEIPA brewed with a generous amount of mango. This beer is highly aromatic, low in bitterness and focused on tropical fruit.
Of all the fruits that have been added to an IPA of this type, my favorite is definitely mango. I find that the harmony of this exotic fruit with hops is incredible!
Besides, one of my favorite IPAs, which I discovered, if I remember correctly, at Saint-Houblon is the Doble Mango from Simple Malt. A beer that is now in a can and that I buy every time I see it!
I am very happy to try a new one, the one brewed by Saint-Houblon, NEIPA Mango Suave.
On the nose, it obviously smells of mango but we also detect the resinous scent of hops.
The beer is very hazy, a very beautiful sunny orange!
On the palate, the mango appears first and accompanies us throughout the sip. It’s very sunny and refreshing as a beer. The hops also bring a resinous and exotic fruit side. Indeed, we taste several exotic fruits and not just mango (papaya, cantaloupe, passion fruit, etc.). I imagine myself drinking this beer on a terrace this summer (hoping that it is allowed) with great pleasure, and if not, in my backyard in the sun… 😉
The texture is very creamy and reminds us of a smoothie. The bitterness is clearly noticeable on the finish and contributes to the beautiful balance of this beer.
It fills me with happiness, nothing to complain about! 😉
