La Corne de brume and the Corps mort are two beers from À l’abri de la Tempête which completely seduced me several years ago. Today, I am doing a simultaneous tasting of La Corne de brume and its little sister, La Corne de bois.
La Corne de brume
Heady beer with accents of molasses and ripe fruit (plums, figs). Enhanced with chocolate and caramelized flavors, it is lulled by salty and earthy notes. The yeasts provide a slightly burnt banana cake taste that blends wonderfully with slightly woody and vanilla flavors. It is slightly more expressive and full-bodied than its little sister.
Simultaneous tasting – La Corne de brume / La Corne de bois
Both beers are frankly excellent! The differences between the two versions are enough to buy both and have just as much fun! ❤️
