Very often, when I have the idea of doing a tasting, I suddenly see dozens of posts on Instagram and Facebook that talk about the same beer. I always wonder whether I should wait a little, move on to another beer, or go ahead anyway.
When I describe a beer it’s not always the first time I’ve tasted it. I like to get a first idea without a camera and without a notebook. Sometimes I have to go and buy it again…damn it…! When there is some left…! 😉 Other times, I buy two from the start (like in this case).
I already drank it for the first time and I really liked it. Honestly, I couldn’t wait to tell you… 😉
This beer is really successful. Wow! Superbly fruity IPA with exotic flavors (mango, cantaloupe, papaya) enhanced with a slight acidic taste of citrus (orange, lime). I feel happy and content and I feel the warm rays of the sun hitting me in the face. The bitterness is distinctly mellow and tropical, but without taking away from the taste and character of the beer.
The finish is rather dry. The flavour fades a little quickly but it’s so good that you want to take another sip immediately.
A beer of this quality, I would serve it in a liter can. That way, you can have just one beer in your evening… 😉
