Tasting notes

A grain-forward, delicately lemony beer with good bitterness. The creamy mouthfeel is prominent and enhanced with a taste of honey and a hint of caramel. The yeasts used provide a fairly typical banana taste which mixes very well with the other flavors. In the finish, we have a little herbaceous and slightly spicy side which is accompanied by a taste of burnt bread. Subsequently, a very pleasant slight bitterness remains on the palate.

The level of my pint drops very quickly, a sign that the beer is light and very drinkable.

I remind you that part of the profits from the sale of this beer will be donated to the “La clef sur la porte” foundation which helps women victims of domestic violence. Additionally, I really like the idea of it being brewed by a collective of women and I hope they will brew several more!

Thanks to Caroline who works at Les Bons Buveurs on Jean-Talon for suggesting this tasting to me.
