These days, I’m downright pampered by the beers I taste and this one is no exception. I close my eyes and imagine myself on a tropical beach.
Tropical fruits are in the spotlight and it’s very well done. It’s silky and juicy as can be, with a little burst of citrus towards the end and a pleasant resinous side. The bitterness arrives at the finish and balances the sweetness of the fruits. It’s really a tropical fruit salad (clementine, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, lemon, grapefruit).
I really like diversity and all styles of beer but when I want to treat myself, I often uncork an IPA. This ranks among the good ones I have tasted. Oh how good it’s going to be on the patio this summer! Yes, sir! Cheers!
