Tasting notes

The day after St. Patrick’s Day, my body asked me for a little break from alcohol. 😉 I really like the non-alcoholic beers from BockAle but I hadn’t yet had the chance to taste Berliner Sonne. Let me tell you that this product perfectly completes the BockAle trilogy of non-alcoholic beers.

It’s refreshing, fruity, tangy and sparkling. The fruity flavors of pineapple, passion fruit and star fruit are accompanied by a pronounced lemony flavour and slightly herbaceous notes. The finish is very dry but still leaves cereal notes similar to soft bread. Like lemonade taken to a whole new level!

The first tasting I did on my site is the Découverte #0.3172-A from BockAle. It was the beer that helped inspire me to start my blog. I wanted to tell everyone how great I found it that a microbrewery from Quebec was raising the bar for non-alcoholic beers. I wrongly thought that this niche was going to be exploited more by microbreweries but, at least, we can always count on the innovation and excellence of BockAle in this area!

A very attractive alternative!
