Weblinks

Since the web is full of beautiful initiatives, I would like to eventually list them in a dedicated section. Until this section is built, I leave you my favorite addresses on the island!

Birra Bar à Bières Maison

Montreal is simply an amazing city for a beer lover like me. It offers a ton of special and interesting places to enjoy draft beer or bottled beer. Among a list that could certainly contain thirty distinct places, I decided to offer you my favorite places. No need to tell you that it’s a must visit!

Boutique Ils en Fument du Bon (near the Marché Jean-Talon)

Great choice of beers and the staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. I just like the atmosphere of this place. It’s quite small but all the time full of life!

Dépanneur Peluso (on Beaubien Street)

The beer mecca! Simply an amazing choice! I find the same emotion that I had in a record store in 1998… 😉

Microbrasserie Dieu du ciel (on Laurier Street)

My favorite microbrewery! Always new beers to taste (and always good)! The place is friendly and the menu is simple but delicious. And not to mention the impressive number of beers they have bottled over time. An example to follow!

Restaurant Saint-Houblon (in the Latin Quarter)

The restaurant which I most attended (and by far and away) since 2-3 years. The atmosphere is warm, the choice of beer cask is very good and the food is excellent and surprising. Perfect location (metro Berri-UQAM)!

Broue Pub Brouhaha (on De Lorimier Street)

Festive privileged place with three large rooms. The food is good (albeit a bit heavy for the stomach…) and the amazing beer selection includes both house and guest casks. Although this place invites to the party, don’t forget that there’s always a tomorrow… 😉

Bistro Vice & Versa

Well known for its beautiful and large terrace, the Vice & Versa offers a choice of beers in cask quite unbeatable. The food is always good and a daily menu is often offered. A place where I made a lot of brewing discovery. 🙂
